R and S-PLUS code to accompany the book Semiparametric Regression
by D. Ruppert, M.P. Wand and R.J. Carroll is available in the following four forms:

1. S-PLUS code in Appendix B of the book.
   
   
2. The S-PLUS component of Ngo, L. & Wand, M.P. (2004). Smoothing with mixed model software.
   Volume 9, 2004, Issue 1, Journal of Statistical Software.
   
   
3. A set of example R scripts. These correspond to the shortcourse from the book given in Pittsburgh
   in March 2004. The 9 files below comprise the 4 data files, a required support function and 4 script files.
